Destin Offers an Array of Dining & Shopping Options

Here in Destin, there’s at least as much to do on land as there is in the sparkling, emerald waters. The area boasts a creative restaurant scene, a buzzing nightlife, and great shopping.

Indulge Your Taste Buds

One of Destin's most popular seafood restaurants is Harry T's, offering fresh seafood and signature drinks under the picturesque lighthouse on Destin Harbor. Two more great options are the more casual seafood favorite, Dewey Destin, owned by the great, great grandson of Leonard Destin who founded the city in 1835 and McGuire's Irish Pub, the perfect stop for burgers, brews and live music. And you won't want to miss Lulu's, Lucy Buffett's festive beach bar and restaurant overlooking Choctawhatchee Bay, just minutes from Regatta Bay Golf & Country Club.

Shop Till You Drop

Once you're fueled and ready to shop, head to HarborWalk Village, offering a variety of waterfront specialty shops, fun restaurants including Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, and entertainment options. Be sure to also make a stop at Destin Commons, with over 80 shops and specialty stores in a lively, Mediterranean-style shopping mecca adjacent to Regatta Bay. When it's time for serious shopping, Silver Sands Premium Outlets is the place to go, with 110 name-brand and designer stores. Other options include Grand Boulevard at Sandestin Town Center and Village of Baytowne Wharf, each with a unique selection of shops and restaurants to sample. Destin is the best place to shop on the Emerald Coast.
