Destin is part of the A+ high performing Okaloosa County School District which includes Destin Elementary School, Destin Middle School, Fort Walton Beach High School, and Niceville High School. Destin Middle School, a school with a historic A+ ranking, is located within the gates of Regatta Bay. The institution's strong commitment to accelerated learning with innovative and personalized instruction has defined its success over the years. The newest high school in Okaloosa County, Destin High School, opened its doors to students in August of 2021.
